The Queen's Hotel is an imposing Grade II Listed building
in Mill Street, Drummore, Scotland's southernmost village.
The Queen's Hotel has enjoyed a long history
dating back some 200 years and has been a popular destination for those wishing to enjoy the stunning coastline and countryside
all around, as well as visiting the Mull of Galloway - Scotland's Land's End - the most southerly point in Scotland
that lies on the same latitude as Sunderland in north-east England.
The hotel itself has six bedrooms: 1 twin,
2 doubles, 1 treble and 2 family rooms - and bed and breakfast rates start from just £30.00.
A focal point
in this small community, the Queen's Hotel has a traditional bar that stocks a range of lagers, beers and ciders including
Carling, Carlsberg, John Smiths, McEwans, Guinness, Caffreys and Belhaven and, being Scotland, a fine selection of malt whiskies.
There is also a games room offering pool and darts.
Meals are served at the Queen's Hotel from 12 noon when
residents and visitors to the hotel can enjoy an extensive menu of traditional favourites including homemade steak and ale
pies, pork pies and pasties and homemade chips, all prepared using fresh local produce.
The hotel also offers
a takeway menu with meals served between 6pm and 8.30pm, 7 days a week.
